Paris has been a favorite place as a setting for movies for a long time. Here are a few English language movies set in Paris:
- The Phantom of the Opera
- An American in Paris
- Marie Antoinette
- The Pink Panther
- Ratatouille
- National Treasure: Book of Secrets
- Julie and Julia
- The Aristocats
- Mr Bean's Holiday
Of course, there are many more French movies set in Paris. If you come to Paris in the summer, you may see them filming! For seeing movies there are lots of theatres on the Champs-Elysees where they show "VO" - version original - which means it is in English with French subtitles if the movie was filmed in English. A bientot!
